IC Corporation’s interest in the residential construction business was boosted by the success of “Ocala I”. As explained in the previous article, the project consisted in the investment for the construction and selling of 5 houses in Marion Oaks Subdivision which is located in the equestrian city of Ocala, Florida.
In august of this year 2019, IC USA signed 2 new construction projects and which were named as Ocala II and Ocala III.
OCALA II
The project follows the same turnkey business concept we had in place with Ocala I, consisting in an investment for the construction and subsequent selling of house. Therefore, this august we renewed the contract for another 5 homes. The architectural plans for these new homes are the same as last year. Currently, the construction process is on phase 4 and we are on-schedule with an estimated to be completed by mid-January 2020.
OCALA III
Through goals identification, scheduling and budgeting, the project Ocala III was also approved in August of this year.
Differently from the first two pro jects mentioned above in this article, Ocala III is an independent residential development that will be managed and executed by the USA office team under the supervision of HQ.
This is a larger venture that consists in the construction of 15 single – family houses. The new architectural design named “Agatha” has a layout of 2,048 – total – square – foot; 1 master bedroom, 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, kitchen, dining room, living room, laundry room and 2 cars space garage. The construction is estimated to culminate in Octubre 2020.
These beautiful houses will also sit on 0.26 acre sized wooded and bursting in green lots in Marion Oaks.
Currently the project is still in phase 1. The architectural design is completed. Also, the 15 lots have been purchased, cleared, graded and surveyed. In the following weeks we expect to start pulling construction permits.
The company is working arduously to gain knowledge in the management of contracting, planning, estimating, design, and construction during the whole process, taking into account e¬fficient development of solid communication between the team and each contractor or subcontractor on the field.
In the eort of showing the potentiality of the new houses to attract customers we will be using the “Ocala I Model Home” to promote the new houses and eventually when “Agatha” spec homes are ready we will allocate one and stage it to fully capture the attention of future buyers.
We are excited and looking forward to deliver the residents of Marion Oaks with beautiful homes built by IC Corporation.
