YOUR Success, MY Success! was the new slogan that characterized our SUMMIT 2020, stamping the annual tradition of the most important meeting of IC CORPORATION, in this opportunity we were surprised by the beginning of the pandemic due to the COVID-19, but this did not stop us and the meeting took place in the city of Orlando at the Hyatt Hotel facilities, where Corporate and Regional leaders were present, the pandemic was not an impediment for our Regional Manager of China Sergio Zhang Haixin, the company’s CEO, César Escobar, was also present at the SUMMIT and our Corporate Commercial Manager for Mass Market, José Emilio Guanche, was unable to leave Venezuela for personal reasons. This time, technology played a leading role in offering a presence to those who could not be there physically. The ceremony began with an opening speech by our President, then each of the regional managers from South America, North America, Europe, the Caribbean, Central America and Asia, evaluated their performance during 2019, from this the corporate managers in their corresponding corporate areas Administration and Human Resources, Pre-sales, Financial Engineering, Project Sales, Logistics, Mass Sales, Engineering, Research and Development, evaluated the performance of their area during 2019. This meeting gave participation to each Regional Manager to give their contribution of current projects, their plans for this 2020. This approach will bring endless benefits to the staff, therefore, a positive transition is always expected for the performance of their work in the corporation; furthermore, the day ended with a precious motivational speech that awakened the desire to obtain more trust and commitment with the corporation, led by Herminio Alamo.
On the third day, fulfilling the objective of this wonderful summit, the areas corresponding to Business Analysis and Corporate Vision were undertaken, the initiation of the installation of new projects, the HR SOFTWARE, the development of IC TRAINING SOFTWARE, CRM SOFTWARE, IT 2020, and IC4S our product concepts.
On the fourth day the Business Plans were established where all the regional managers discussed to achieve future business techniques and procedures to be executed during the current year.
The last day in the ONE ON ONE meeting, where everyone met with our CEO and reached the corresponding business plans and strategies and management objectives establishing future agreements, being this the closing and most notable meeting, this last one as the most important because this will determine the success of future investments in time and planning of promised objectives that are expected to be reached throughout this 2020. Each sales project or business strategy involves a management process in which each manager plays a role that will determine the success and fulfillment of the goals established throughout the transitions in which we all learned a lot and it was an enriching experience in business knowledge and education. We did it again! With an award ceremony we culminated what was a successful SUMMIT by honoring our employees with awards for their outstanding work during 2019, and a dinner closed the celebration of 25 years of IC CORPORATION’s foundation. We do not stop, always looking for success, the one that is yours and mine.
