Faithful to the tradition of each year, IC Corporation representatives from around the world gathered at the most important meeting of the company: The 2021 Summit, this time held virtually through videoconferencing on May 5 and 6, 2021.
During the conference, several points were presented and the most relevant events of the current year were discussed, considering that the corporation went through the transition from the Stabilization phase to the Resurrection phase set forth in the Zero Spending Plan stipulated and implemented in the pandemic 2020. In this sense, different projects have been resumed and started up in the Dominican Republic and Panama, within the framework of the corporation’s lines of action, always watching over its evolution.
The event was welcomed by the Corporate Relations Coordinator Maria Flores, who gave way to the CEO and President of IC Corporation, Cesar Escobar, to make opening remarks and thus could incorporate the leaders of the corporation spread around the world. Thus, the regional manager Greicy Romero had her participation with the presentation entitled “Caribbean” exposing the most important of the region she represents.
Next, Yeisily Rodriguez demonstrated her leadership with her topic: South America. This Regional Manager highlighted the achievements and challenges to be met in the area. To conclude the tour of the continent, Ruth Rodriguez, Manager of Central America, made a valuable contribution to the Summit with important remarks.
Then it was time to turn our attention to the Asian continent with a speech by Sergio Zhang, Regional Manager in charge of Asia. During his speech, all the possibilities and opportunities that exist today in the East of the world were put on the table.
The summit continued with the words of the Corporate Administrator and head of the Human Resources Department, Pedro Molina, who gave a prelude to what would be the balance presented by the head of the Corporate Sales Department, Reinaldo Suarez. To conclude the first day of the meeting, CEO César Escobar gave an overview of the Corporation’s evolution and gave future guidelines.
On the second day of the summit, all those present connected to discuss the strategic plan to follow and the guidelines to carry out everything successfully. Maria Flores, Corporate Relations Coordinator, did the beautiful job of explaining everything related to the IC Cares Foundation.
To conclude, Anthony Caguado gave a presentation entitled Digital Business Transformation, which was followed by President Escobar’s presentation “How a Corporation Succeeds”. Finally, he had the honor of closing the summit with words of recognition and encouraging and inspiring messages about the future of the corporation.
Undoubtedly, this meeting was key to the success of the upcoming investments and the approach of the objectives to be achieved by 2022.
